please add Natalie Portman to your list... I think you forgot it..
I d/l'd the life in mono song. A good suggestion.
BUT..I was right! It does sound like the theme song to 7 Nights in Bangkok. Plus, the word 'ingenue' refers to a naive woman which is what 7 Nights would probably be all about. If it were a real movie. I'm just saying.
Funny thing is, if I were trying to fall asleep. I too would listen to music. But then, I'd probably stay up listening to the song and humming the words. Next thing you know I get the munchies and I take a walk to my nearby 24 hour deli and order coffee and cookies (milano). And then it's 3am...
(now, what's the deal with Natalie Portman?)
Natalie Portman is someone's idea of a joke. You see, "anonymous" has a confined/commercial taste in music, films and just about anything. He criticizes my musical taste, thinks I'm a little 'out there.' Doesn't make much sense, it's more of an inside thing...bottom line, we don't share the same taste in music :-) He's more of a Three-6-Mafia kinda guy, aren't ya anon??
OK, 7 nights in Bangkok...so, that's not a real movie? I guess you should start writing the screenplay.
I'm fascinated by this Portman comment. Does she represent all that is esoteric and high brow or something..
So basically anon thinks you're a culture snob. That you measure people by the type of tea they drink.
Nothing wrong with confined/ commercial tastes. I'm the last person to judge. Just the other day I dowloaded "Crockett's Theme" from the Miami Vice TV show record (Great Song!).
"Seven Nights in Bangkok" is not a real movie. Sorry for the confusion. It's the movie I imagine when I hear Life in Mono. The type of movie one might see on Cinemax at 2 in the morning..
It's hard out here for a pimp...
so what do you suggest if your husband's snoring keeps you awake?!
Can I just add one song I recently heard? Harvest Moon by Neil Young
MLK by U2 is another good one
Now that Juice has put his material out there, don't you think it would only be fair to burn and share? Now I want to hear those songs. You couldn't possibly expect me to download all of them?
